According to the results of the latest WSU Index of Consumer Expectations, 45 percent of consumers reported plans to purchase costumes or makeup, 68 percent plan to purchase Halloween candy, 27 percent plan to purchase Halloween decorations, 9 percent plan to purchase Halloween greeting cards, and 20 percent plan to purchase Halloween party supplies.
