From second to third quarter the WSU Leading Index grew 0.9 percent. From third quarter 2010, it grew 9.6 percent. The Index indicators showing the largest percentage growth from second to third quarter were the inflation-adjusted value of Wichita’s nonresidential building permits and the national inflation-adjusted value of new orders for aircraft and parts. Six indicators negatively impacted the Index.
