The Center for Economic Development and Business Research has prepared an analysis of the aerospace product and parts industry, North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 3364, by estimating the annual average fiscal and economic impact of direct NAICS 3364 employees.
In addition, the CEDBR estimated several different measures of economic impact, including a benefit cost ratio, return on investment and the present value of net benefits. Based on direct earnings and wages and direct NAICS 3364 business operations, the fiscal impact to the state of Kansas was estimated to be $408.7 million, with total fiscal impacts of all municipalities of $490.4 million in a single year.
