The WSU Current Conditions Index increased 0.5 percent from March to April. All of the index indicators showed improvement during that time period. In addition, the April 2012 to April 2013 index value increased 1.3 percent.
Total nonfarm employment, which is given the primary weighting in the index, increased 0.5 percent from March to April, and 1 percent from April 2012 to April 2013.
