Grocery stores are an important part of the retail sector in many Kansas communities. CEDBR, as part of research in Kansas’ retail sector gaps, has analyzed sales in the grocery store retail sector throughout Kansas.
17 Kansas counties had sales more than 50 percent higher than their peer counties, and 18 counties sales more than 50 percent lower than their peer counties.
