Current & Leading Indices Continue to Improve, April 2016

Current & Leading Indices From March to April, the WSU Current Conditions Index improved by 0.6 percent, with the Leading Index seeing an improvement of 0.8 percent. The Current Conditions Index increased year-to-year by 0.8 percent, with the Leading Index increasing 0.5 percent from March 2015 to April 2016. In addition, the Leading Index is forecasting a 0.38 percent decrease in economic activity over the next six months.
