The unemployment rate for Kansas, as a whole, increased by 0.8 percentage points from December of 2015 to January of 2016. Topeka had the largest increase, raising by 1.1 percentage points, while Wichita followed with an increase of 0.9 percentage points, then Lawrence with an increase of just 0.8 percentage points, and finally Manhattan with an increase of 0.7 percentage points.
