Tara is the co-owner and partner of Compass Marketing and Advertising Company and the owner and publisher of TK Business Magazine.

Prior to Compass, Tara served as the Chief Business Development Officer for Envista Federal Credit Union. She is a trained facilitator and executive coach serving clients across the region.

Committed to the community, Tara is the chair of Momentum 2027, Topeka's community strategy, and the Topeka Women's Fund. She also serves on the boards of the Kansas Chamber, the Topeka Community Foundation and the Topeka Civic Theatre.

Tara has her CCUE from CUNA Management School. She is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and a graduate of Washburn University with a BBA and a MBA. Tara is a certified leadership coach through the Kansas Leadership Center and has a communications certification from Harvard University.

Tara is married to Braden Dimick and they have three children, Hope (20), Cordell (18) and Harmony (10).
