Although the WSU Current Conditions Index experienced monthly fluctuations during the 12 months ending in March, those 12 months compared to the previous 12 months showed an annual average growth rate of only 0.2 percent. The indicator having the most positive impact on the Index, when comparing those two 12-month periods, was the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate, which declined 1 percentage point.
