Larry Northrop is the broker & owner of RE/MAX Excel in Lawrence. He grew up in Lawrence, moved to Japan, Taiwan, Kansas City, Denver and Manhattan with each time moving back to our great city. Happily married with 4 teenagers at home during the pandemic, he is happy to have survived 2020 in a new home while expanding his office and growing team sales by 72%. He is a graduate of Kansas State University, Leadership Lawrence, Lawrence’s Citizen’s Academy, the inaugural UMKC–KCRAR Leadership Academy and has been a board member for LBOR, KCRAR and numerous volunteer organizations during his 20 year professional career. Prior to that, he was a downtown Lawrence business owner. Larry’s hobby is remodeling and staging properties on behalf of clients and for his own investment portfolio.
