VP, Customer Operations
As vice president, customer operations, Jeff Martin leads Evergy’s customer call centers, large commercial and industrial customer relations, retail billing, meter operations and field services.
Mr. Martin served as vice president, customer and community operations for Evergy from 2018 to 2021, vice president, regulatory affairs from 2013 to 2018 and was named executive director, regulatory affairs in 2012. From 2006 to 2012, he was director, reliability and resource scheduling. He has held various roles since joining the company as a design tech in 1993, including roles supervising design in Manhattan and operations in Hutchinson.
Mr. Martin received his Bachelor of Science in electronics engineering technology from Pittsburg State University and his Master of Business in operations management from Kansas State University. He is on the board of Kansas Big Brothers Big Sisters, GO Topeka and the Wichita Regional Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Martin also serves on the Graduate Studies Advisory Council for the Kansas State University College of Business.
